At the heart of L.A.M.B. — an acronym for Love Angel Music Baby — is singer, songwriter, and style icon Gwen, whose unique, trendsetting personal style serves as the inspiration for the brand's rocker-chic aesthetic. The luxurious collection of apparel, handbags, and shoes represents all the things California girl Gwen loves: "L.A.M.B. is a line that I want to wear every day," says the singer-turned-designer.
Gwen's innate sense of style drives the brand, which features a mix of vintage feminine and masculine silhouettes with a playful juxtaposition of Hollywood glamour and modern street-style influences.
"I like the contrast and the clash and the resulting balance you get from mixing soft and hard elements," says Gwen. "I go back to that inspiration over and over again."
Gwen rose to fame as the lead singer of the American rock band No Doubt. After the band's worldwide success, she went on to release two platinum solo albums. The launch of L.A.M.B. represents another creative outlet for the talented star - and a lasting business.
"I'm not always going to be running around doing cartwheels on stage for the rest of my life ... L.A.M.B. is something that can be lasting and something I can continue to do in the future with a family," says Gwen. "It's like a seed that I planted, and it's going to grow into something amazing."
